A Taste of Home
Pandemic lockdown, what to do? Christmas approaches, daughter-in-law missing Finnish family loved ones. Not even able to give a hug or share a meal. Well a packet of two of Lakritsi and other favourite sweets snuggled in a gift bag. A sweet taste of home to invoke happy memories and make new ones. Although unable to share the fun of opening the bag and enjoying eating a Lakritsi sweet myself. The pleasure she took in sharing these sweets with her husband and children was wonderful. Shall I buy other Finnish products from Scandinavian Goods again but of course. Going by a text on my phone, it is likely that my son, the husband of this dear girl will too.
